HC Mr. Vikram Kumar Doraiswami inaugurated the event with lighting of ceremonial lamp. In his speech, HC highlighted importance of IGCC in fostering & strengthening cultural exchanges b/w India-Bangladesh & promoting people to people connect. Event was celebrated with mesmerizing performances by IGCC students & teachers which included medley of Bangla & Hindi songs by tabla students, recitation of Hindi poems written by great Indian poets, etc. As a special segment, IGCC students paid tribute to three great stalwarts of the Music world - Bharat Ratna Late LataMangeshkar ji, Bengali singer Late Gitashree Sandhya Mukhopadhyay ji, & singer-composer Late BappiLahiri ji who passed away last month.
