Keeping the historic relations between the two countries in mind, the Indo-Bangla Council started its journey to address the various avenues of Cultural & Commercial activities.

1. To address bilateral trade issues between India and Bangladesh.
2. To develop an equal field for the exporters of both the countries.
3. To simplify the investment process & regulations of both the countries to enable the investors to invest .
4. To encourage the cultural exchange activities between the countries.
5. To initiate a mechanism for the Bangladeshi citizen to ease the medical services in India.
6. To address problems relating to issuance of visa for the businessmen of both the countries.
7. To promote the tourism sectors in both countries.
