Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata celebrated the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge in a festive manner. Eminent personalities of West Bengal including Prof. Pabitra Sarkar, former Vice Chancellor of Rabindra Bharati University & ‘Friends of Bangladesh’ awardee, Mr. Snehasis Sur, eminent journalist and President of Press Club, Kolkata, Mr. Gautam Ghose, renowned film Director and Dr. Debjyoti Chanda, Head of Department, Mass Communication and Videography of the Rabindra Bharati University and representatives from different electronic & print media graced this grand celebration as a witness of the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
