The Indian High Commission,Bangladesh,Dhaka organized book launching program of two of my books,Tagore's selected letters,Glimpses of Bengal : His Agony and Ecstasy and the Tsgore' s Gitanjali : A Gift of Magi to the West at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre,Gulshan diplomatic zone. As I had been entering into the main room of Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre with my relations I experienced a banner portrayaying a wonderful decoration focusing my two books. It was done with personal initiative of the High Commissioner His Excellency Vikram K.Doraiswami himself.In today's program he came early to have a look at everything if things were o.k. as he could not attend the program for the whole time for a more vital national proram in which Bangladesh and India were involved on Human rights issues.. The Honorable Minister,Abdul Mannan had then arrived and theHigh Commissioner Vikram K. Doraiswami receieved him and took leave of him for attending the vital program.The Deputy High Commissoner Benoy George was in charge of the program.
