15th International Arts & Crafts Expo 2022, held at the Sheraton Hotel

Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja participated in the 15th International Arts & Crafts Expo 2022, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja from 18-20 August 2022, displaying traditional jamdani, nakshi kantha, handicrafts and products. Eventually Bangladesh High Commission was adjudged the best in the category of networking and connectivity through traditional arts and crafts. The theme of the event was promoting Nigerian arts and crafts to the world, aiming to promote local tradition and heritage represented through participation of 25 states out of the total 36 states. Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, China, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, Iran and Cuba participated in the exhibition fair for displaying their own heritage products and handloom. The event was organized under the auspices of the Nigeria Council for Arts & Culture -NCAC under the Ministry of Culture & Information of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
