Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata hosted the Great Independence and National Day Reception of Bangladesh at Hotel ITC Sonar on 27 March 2024. Smt. Nandini Chakravorty, IAS, Principal Secretary, Departments of Home and Hill Affairs; Parliamentary Affairs; Tourism, Govt. of West Bengal graced the occasion as the Chief guest. Besides, members of the diplomatic corps, high dignitaries from government, eminent personalities, media personalities, and different business bodies of West Bengal attended the event.
