High Commission of India and ICCR in Bangladesh hosted the Bijoya Sammelan 2025 on 18 October at the Indian Cultural Centre in Dhaka. High Commissioner Pranay Verma welcomed the guests to the event marking a season of festivities. He highlighted the cultural kinship through shared traditions and festivals of India and Bangladesh that makes people-to-people ties the bedrock of bilateral relations. The evening featured soulful cultural performances ranging from bollywood classics by Shithi Saha and Mahtim Sakib, to melodious folk fusion by Bioscope — a musical band formed by Bangladesh Youth Delegation (BYD) alumni, and a captivating sufi music performance by Pranto’s Melodies.

মাননীয় হাই কমিশনার শ্রী প্রণয় ভার্মা উৎসবের এই মরশুম উপলক্ষ্যে অনুষ্ঠানটিতে আগত অতিথিবৃন্দকে স্বাগত জানান। তিনি ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের অভিন্ন ঐতিহ্য ও উৎসবের মাধ্যমে সাংস্কৃতিক আত্মীয়তার কথা জোরালোভাবে তুলে ধরেন যা মানুষে-মানুষে বন্ধনকে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্কের ভিত্তিরূপে স্থাপন করে।

এই সন্ধ্যায় ছিল প্রাণবন্ত সব সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশনা, যার মাঝে ছিল সিঁথি সাহা ও মাহতিম সাকিব পরিবেশিত বলিউডের ক্লাসিক গান থেকে শুরু করে বাংলাদেশ ইয়ুথ ডেলিগেশন (বিওয়াইডি)-র অ্যালামনাইগণ কর্তৃক গঠিত ব্যান্ড বায়োস্কোপ-এর সুরেলা ফোক ফিউশন, আর প্রান্ত'স মেলোডিজের মনোমুগ্ধকর সুফি সঙ্গীত পরিবেশনা।
