High Commissioner Pranay Verma paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance and Planning of Bangladesh, H. E. Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and held wide-ranging discussions on issues of common interest to strengthen India-Bangladesh financial and economic cooperation.

Their discussion focused on cooperation in financial sector, emerging areas such as digital economy and artificial intelligence, as well as improving the ease of doing business to promote greater investment and deepen economic cooperation between the two countries.

তাঁদের আলোচনায় আর্থিক খাত, ডিজিটাল অর্থনীতি ও কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তার মতো উদীয়মান ক্ষেত্রগুলোতে সহযোগিতার পাশাপাশি বিনিয়োগ বৃদ্ধিকরণ ও এই দুই দেশের মধ্যে অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতা আরও গভীর করার উদ্দেশ্যে সহজে ব্যবসায়িক কর্মকাণ্ড পরিচালনা কার্যের (Ease of Doing Business) উন্নয়ন সাধন করার মতো বিষয়সমূহ বিশেষ গুরুত্ব লাভ করে।
