High Commissioner Pranay Verma had a courtesy meeting with the Minister of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Nitai Roy Chowdhury and Minister of State for Cultural Affairs H.E. Mr. Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayyam on 9 March 2026.

They discussed wide-ranging cooperation and exchanges to strengthen India-Bangladesh cultural engagement and promote people-to-people ties. They highlighted the deep-rooted cultural connection between the peoples of the two countries and the importance of strengthening cultural engagement to enhance the overall bilateral relationship.

তাঁরা ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সাংস্কৃতিক সম্পৃক্ততা সুদৃঢ় করা এবং জনগণের মধ্যে সম্পর্কের উন্নয়ন ঘটানোর লক্ষ্যে বিস্তৃত সহযোগিতা ও বিনিময় বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন। তাঁরা এই দুই দেশের জনগণের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান গভীর সাংস্কৃতিক সংযোগ এবং সামগ্রিক দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ক উন্নয়নের জন্য সাংস্কৃতিক সম্পৃক্ততাকে সুদৃঢ় করার গুরুত্ব বিশেষভাবে তুলে ধরেন।
