High Commissioner Pranay Verma paid a courtesy call on H. E. Mr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser (Ministry of Finance & Ministry of Planning) in the Prime Minister’s Office on 16 March 2026.

They discussed various aspects of India-Bangladesh economic cooperation, including ways to strengthen transport, energy and digital connectivity between the two countries. They also explored new areas for future collaboration in people-centric domains aligned with the respective developmental priorities of the two countries based on mutual interest and mutual benefit.

হাই কমিশনার প্রণয় ভার্মা ১৬ মার্চ ২০২৬-এ প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ে মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা জনাব রাশেদ আল মাহমুদ তিতুমীর (অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয় ও পরিকল্পনা মন্ত্রণালয়)-এর সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন।

তাঁরা এই দুই দেশের মাঝে পরিবহণ, জ্বালানি ও ডিজিটাল সংযুক্তি সুদৃঢ় করার উপায়সহ ভারত-বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতার বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন। তাঁরা পারস্পরিক স্বার্থ ও পারস্পরিক কল্যাণের ওপর ভিত্তি করে এই দুই দেশের সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন উন্নয়নমূলক অগ্রাধিকারের সাথে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ জনগণ-কেন্দ্রিক নানা খাতে ভবিষ্যৎ সহযোগিতার নতুন ক্ষেত্রগুলো নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন।
