To discuss the upcoming joint celebration of the Maitree Diwas on Dec 6, and the 50th Vijay Diwas, making the Liberation of Bangladesh on 16 Dec, High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami called upon H.E. PM Sheikh Hasina on 30 Nov 2021. High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami presented PMSH a rare photo of Bangabandhu with an Indian soldier, reflecting the unique graciousness of Bangladesh's Father of the Nation, & a set of hundreds of historic photos, film and audio clips of the Bangladesh struggle against brutal oppression in 1971. PMSH warmly commended the Indian State, people & Armed Forces, whose support Bangladesh would never forget. The PM highly evaluated the current relationship and encouraged both sides' officials to redouble their shared efforts to make the next 50 years even better.
