On 15 November 2021, High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami also visited & paid his respect by placing a wreath at Koya Golahat Bhoddobhoomi in Saidpur, a memorial for around 500 Bangladeshis who were killed by Pakistan collaborators in 1971. He also met a survivor of this brutal massacre. Later in that evening, High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami interacted with a delegation of Burimari Importers & Exporters, & discussed upcoming new logistics, & needed regulatory changes, to increase & simplify trade. The day ended with a reception organised by Assistant High Commission of India - Rajshahi wherein High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami addressed & interacted with dignitaries of Rangpur Division including the Mayor, MPs, senior politicians, prominent businessmen, among others.
