High Commission of India, Dhaka hosted its annual Bijoya Sammelan today. Hon. State Minister Swapon Bhattacharjee MP, other MPs, scholars, civil servants, media & achievers from Bangladesh's vibrant social fabric graced the event. High Commissioner of India Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami said Bijoya reflects inclusive,welcoming & generous Bangla spirit,which inspired Liberation in 1971. Culture & values unify India & Bangladesh, subsuming all other identities. Our founding values reflect pluralistic spirit of South Asia,which we must firmly defend at all costs.
