A civic reception was organised in Rajshahi to welcome the Indian delegates participating in the 5th Bangladesh - India Cultural Meet on February 26, 2022. High Commissioner of India, Mr. Vikram Doraiswami spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of cultural exchanges in furthering people-to-people linkages between the two countries. Bangladesh’s Agriculture Minister, Dr Abdur Razzaque, Home Minister of Indian state Tripura, Mr. Ram Prasad Paul and Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Shahriar Alam were also present at the event which was presided over by Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation, Mr. A. H. M. Khairuzzaman Liton.
